AAA Tests Top Tier & LAC Gasoline Deposits
AAA funded it's own tests to determine if Top Tier gasoline's really do keep our engines cleaner than the government mandated LAC = Least Additive Concentration gasolines. It's an extensive report, so open & read it when you have some time to read, view photos & absorb all of it. Enjoy, I sure did. http://www.aaa.com/AAA/common/AAR/fi...ull-Report.pdf

In ABQ NM only gasahol is available. Supposedly at 10%. However after an $1100 dollar repair at the BMW dealership I was advised to avoid the "cheap" non top tier stations as they were using a lot more alcohol than they were supposed to. It seem its great for boosting octane (especially in premium) and cheap. But it leaves deposits, harms fuel milage and power and generally corrodes everything. They claim to have measured as much as 30% alcohol in some samples.

Top Tier specs say it must have 8-10% ethanol, if you prefer using Non ethanol containing gasoline, have a look here for stations that offer it in your area. Seems there are 5 in ABQ. Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada
When I searched for non ethanol stations in my area, I found a station 1/4 mile from my house was offering it. I ask for & saw his fuel receipt & it's Shell LAC + 4%. (LAC = Govt. mandated, Least Additive Concentration). I use it in my lawn equipment. So if you want to know who they're buying their fuel from & what the additive concentration is, ask to see their fuel receipt, it'll be indicated there-on & you'll know what your buying & what the detergent additive concentration is, so if you want to add more, you know how much more to add to bring it up to Top Tier detergent standards, if you want to go that route.
