A/C Blower Issues

When you first crank the truck it will blow fine through all speeds, and cold

Just replaced the Compressor 3 months ago.

Air is cold but seems to not flow or blow as hard after truck warms up.

Sounds rough in the glove box too. When you turn it to high it makes a roaring
noise.

Any ideas? Replaced the compressor because clutch was gone on other.

This new compressor has a lot less air gap. Has worked fine since replacing until this week.

thanks

Check above the passenger floor board and make sure there's nothing blocking the return.

Sounds like blower motor dying, or something in heater box hitting wheel.

Does the airflow decrease gradually, or suddenly?

Recently my fan seemed weak, didn't blow as hard as it did before. I found a Walmart bag had been pulled up through the return.

Coils may be dirty restricting flow then freezing up restricting flow further.

I would say gradually, Hard to say by the time I realize it I move it to the next setting speed. The temp never gets warm so I rule out the blender door.

If it's gradual, this sounds like the most plausible answer to me. There also may be a bag, or partial restriction adding to the problem, but this makes sense to me.

The bag that got sucked up in to mine was from the floor board.

The blower fan and resistor are pretty easy to pull out. less than 10 minutes and you'll know if it's something in the fan area.

That opening is clear can see through it with blower out. The coils are cover in debris inside box, what's the best way to clean coils?
