I am trying to find a condensor that is as close to OEM as possible. I ordered one from Advanced and it would not fit in my truck, the pipe on the pass side at the bottom was hitting the side because of how much it bent out. Little difficult to describe and I don't have a picture but I am hoping that maybe someone has a part number or maybe ND would be willing to give me a part number I can google and go from there. It's factory air and has a automatic trans.
Rec'd my new condenser today. When you are needing one the correct Ford OEM #E0TH19710

I know he was having issues getting one that would fit his truck.
I think he got it thru Ford but not sure.
I am far off time wise needing one but I am thinking of taking measurements ofmy old one then look here Painted - Parallel Flow Condensers | ACKITS.com for the largest one that will work in my truck.

Thanks for the reply, I tried googling that part number and nothing came up. I don't want to go universal unless I absolutely have to. I'll hold out as long as I can.
Part of the issue Parr4 ran into was the parts all had the right part number but did not fit "right". I don't remember just why it would not fit at this time.
It sounds like we have different "needs" for the condenser. you want stock I want something that will work.
Because I am changing to 134a and I hear the R12 condensers are a little too small for 134a I want to go as big as I can.
I also don't know what compressor I am going to use, York the truck came with or Sedan. I need to find or make bracket for either compressor.
So I may need to make up hoses for either compressor or condenser.
Let us know what you come up withand from who.

edit: I want to say I remember Parr4 had issues with after market condensers and he found the right one thru a Ford dealer.

I have tried an aftermarket one as well and had the same problem, it did not fit so that is why I am looking for the right one. I am on the fence about using 134 or 12. I have access to 12 and yes the original one does not disperse the heat as well for the 134 to work as well with the old system. When I was working on my 71 with factory air I had to go with a universal one and had to make brackets for it to fit.

I talked to a guy in LAFOURCHE that was very helpful and his was damaged but told me that YJ-234 was superseded by YJ-261. Would this be the same thing?
