part identify

Hi guys,

i strip down my steering column an this part was on one screw at the column shaft coupler. What is that for?? The part is made of copper.

Ground strap to ensure the horn has a circuit path to ground through the chassis.

Then I thought right. But i think there is missing something. I can't find a picture how it should look like. Can i use a cable from the one side to the other side?

Yes, you could make a cable to do the same thing.
