Lol i heard that. Im still tinkering on this truck my intercooler boost tube was blown off found that after i replaced the broken glow plug harness. Ive drove the truck a couple times its still got a rough wobble to the engine not as bad as it was. Im hoping its just working out air now. I dont have a scan tool but im still getting the p1316 code from my bully dog.
Yeah the airs gone engine still has a wobble to it sounds like one cylinder has a deep thud sound. Still showing the 1316 code i unplugged outside harnesses and plugged them back in so i also done the .50 mod while i was under the valve cover. I dont have a scan tool but it was showing 3 different codes the bully dog cleared them all except the p1316 it wont clear it. So i dunno if i should tear back into it in the morning or just try to borrow or rent a scan tool and see if that tells me exactly whats wrong.
Got up this morning took off valve cover had a injector unplugged so i plugged it up got everything back together fired it up and it runs smoother but the motor still has a wobble to it like somethings outta balance. Still have the p1316 code and engine light on. Does anybody know if the oreillys scan tool can tell me any codes are does it just do basic code reads. I hate to drive it while its wobbling or do i need to let it idle and get air and oil to that unplugged injector i dunno.
A scanner at an auto parts store probably won't do what you need it to. The only way to see what codes the IDM has stored is to run a KOEO test or injector electrical self test (buzz test). If you have a WinD'ohs laptop, you can get a USB to OBD-II adapter for about 12 bucks, and install ForScan for free. That would allow you to do pretty much everything you'd ever need to do with a scan tool on a Ford.
Nice to meet you mr. Kay i have some friends working out of 613 now i hear yall have a pile of work goin on. Im still tinkering on this truck ive unplugged icp it ran the same as it did plugged in. The wobble kinda goes away with the truck in park and reving to 2500 rpm i dunno if that info can help pin point anything
We have plenty of work right now. Building the Falcons a new Dome(like that's really going to help) and the Braves a new stadium (don't think that will help them either). Several large hospital jobs and some data centers to boot. Working travelers and I heard it's a walk thru on the books. Seems to get like this every election year. I'm not complaining though.

Have you ohmed out the harnesses from the 42 pin connector to each injector?
Took the grounds off the batteries ohmed from 42 pin connector im getting 3.3 to 3.5 across all except #6 its showing open. I think im gonna weld on some quick snaps on my valve cover as much as i keep opening and closing it lol
