So my 2010 f350 v10 has just 43,000 miles on her but its 6 years old.
I just had my 1st exhaust manifold pop, it on driver side inboard of the downturn. It's not leaking and the manifold doesn't seem to be warped yet (no leaks) I think I can just hold a nut up to it and mig weld to the stud and back it out for a replacement but should I attempt to pull them all one at a time and replace with SS studs?
Also, spark plugs do I do them or wait for a misfire and hope I don't have to battle with the broken plug tool?
I would definitely change the plugs at about 50k miles.
I haven't had mine long enough to do it, but the plan is to do it asap, maybe this Sunday actually.
There's a ton of info on here as far as which anti-sieze to use when installing.
Your truck will also have the improved 1 piece plug so no breaking they changed to the 1 piece from 2 piece in mid 08
It just hit me... is there a special way to remove the 2 piece plug? Mine is an '01 and I'm assuming it has the factory plugs since it has 90k on it and most stuff looks factory.

Your '01 does NOT have the 2 piece plug. 2 piece started in the SD in '05 3V engine.
My 07 has quite a few popped studs and no issue except minor ticking when cold.
Also I got mine with 113,000 miles (unknown spark plug history) and now has 266,000 and I've done no maintenance except oil changes, a few air filters, batteries, brakes and tires. (And drain/fill transmission once due to TFT sensor replacement).

I replaced my spark plugs over the weekend. Taking my dear sweet time and half my tools (the half I needed) at my dad's house, I was able to get it done in about a hour and a half.
Had I really wanted to push it and had the full tool set it could have taken considerably less time.
It was well easier than my F150 with the 5.4.
Heck, the entire left bank was laid out on a silver platter!
