Hey all, I've always been a f-150, Bronco kinda guy, but am really wanting to upgrade. This will probably happen next year, just starting my search. What I'm wanting is the 2008+ body and interior design. Manual transmission is an ABSOLUTE MUST, so I know that basically limits me to the 08-10. I know this has probably been beat to death but I really want to know some info.
1) If I find the right truck and the 6.4 powerstroke gives problems, does anyone make an adapter to fit the manual in the 08-10 trucks to the 6.7 powerstroke?
2) If so, couldn't one just change the transmission on the 11+ trucks to include the manual on the newer
3) would the manual from the 08-10 trucks handle the 6.7 powerstroke?
4)If so, and I start looking at the local swap shops and/or junkyards, what is the transmission called( ex: c6, e40d, zf-6, etc)
5) did Ford use the same manual in these years for the 6.4 and the 5.4 or 6.2?
