I need some help with wiring, Gary and others have been a huge help but I am sure Gary is tired of helping me haha so started this thread.
Working on a 86 f150 changing from efi to carb. Trying to figure out some wiring for the high pressure fuel pump. There is a connector that goes to the pump with 2 spade connectors...pos and neg. Those wires (what look to be red and black) run up the drivers side frame under the master cylinder to another connector. The female side of this connector has 2 red wires and 1 black and they run into a harness that goes through the firewall that I can only assume goes to the fuse panel. Now the coloring may be off with the age of the truck and looking at all the wiring diagrams they are but thats what I have to work with. I have no power at the fuel pump.....well the connector that is located under the master cylinder. Any help would be grateful.
Never mind guys I figured it out.....stupid mistake on my part mistaking the connector coming from the inertia switch that goes to the fuel pump was for something else. After days of trying to figure that out I am back on track.
