460 brackets
I need the ac, ps, and alt brackets for a 460 off a 460. But I was going to buy L&L 460 brackets but L&L said I needed a 1970 newer water pump and a 4 bolt harmonic balancer. My engine is actually a 429 out of a 68 thunderbird converted to a 460 by par racing, here in Spartanburg, SC. Also I bought a new carquest water pump and the steel pulley that came off the 429 won't fit due to the pin on the water pump being bigger than the original, does this mean it's a 1970 newer pump. Could you help me figure out if I need to buy brackets from the van for the 460 or if I need to buy a 4 bolt balancer, and L&L brackets and pulleys?
I need to find the simplest way down the road. I do need crank and water pump pulleys as well. Thanks in advance!

What truck are you working on ? Different fixes for different situations. I'd stay away from L&L brackets. I returned their alt. bracket set up. A real piece of junk. Belt was way off in every direction & It probably would have either thrown the belt or ate my alt. bearings out.

It is a 460 swap into my 78 F150. But I have ran into a problem with my clutch and flywheel from L&L. The springs from the clutch hit the bolts on the flywheel. I bought the clutch/flywheel as a kit from JBG, but it's from L&L
