So a few weeks ago I had a problem with my truck on the freeway when It died as I was cruising and wouldn't start back up for a week. I found out that it was the #8 fuse that blew and it kept blowing. I replaced the fuse, took out the fuel bowl heater and swapped the horn relay and the idm relay to see if that worked. The truck started back up and would stay running for about 3 weeks.
Well last week I took the truck to work and it sat for my whole shift. When I tried leaving work, the truck wouldn't start. So I replaced the fuse that kept blowing and it started and ran fine. Now today, I was leaving for work and went to start the truck. I cranked it and it almost caught but then no start again. I could tell it blew the fuse when it almost started. I don't know what to look for anymore and I need help with this one.
#8 is your IDM, have you checked to make sure the harness is tight and that the connections are good? Could be going bad but it might be worth taking it out for a visual inspection.

I thought it only controls power to the idm relay?
So I replaced the fuse and it ran again and while it was running, I decided to play with the wires connecting to the idm and the wires to the fuse box and the truck stalled and won't start. Now I screwed myself though cause even replacing the fuse won't get it to start now
You didn't screw yourself. You narrowed down that you've got a loose terminal connection or break in a wire, at/near the IDM and/or the fuse box. Even if you had it running, given how easy it was to get it to stall playing with the wires, you can bet it would have stalled the next time you hit a good bump; then you would have had a no-start away from home.

True but tracing down electrical problems is not my specialty
You've narrowed down to where the problem is, just look for any torn wires or loose connections.
I've narrowed it down to 3 possible wires. When I was playing with wires, I was just moving the loose relay box around which moved the fuse box wires. I'll show you the area I'm working with.
What's the black wire going towards the IDM? Also is the EGT wire have a wing nut with two wires?
I have no idea what the black wire is. And yes, the egt wire is all kinds of messed up. The previous owner did random mods the the truck and put gauges in himself and kind of just made it work without knowing how to do it.
