I bought this from a gentleman who removed it from a truck over 15 yrs ago and it has been in his basement ever since. This is a low mileage tight unit. Steering wheel in pretty decent shape. Some light rust on the turn signal lever. This column is complete from wheel to splined shaft end. Harness is all there with 1 broke wire. Bottom seal in good shape and also comes with new Dennis Carpenter rubber gasket. Wheel turns freely and tilt is free and tight. Gear shifter actuates well. Can also include a low mile and tight 77.5-79 F250 4x4 lower steering shaft with in-tact rubber boot and good u-joint for another $35.

No other issues - only reason I am selling is I decided not to bother installing into my own truck.

I have not installed this unit so I cannot verify it is 100% operational electrically...I can say mechanically it is the best I have seen for a tilt column.


Might be willing to meet within 25 miles of SW PA - other wise will ship at buyers expense. I can palletize or box.

Time to clean out the garage.

Do you know if it has the neutral safety switch? Mine was removed when restoration work was done and I'm looking for one in the steering column as opposed to the trans.

This unit would have been originally installed in a 78-79 truck where the NSS is mounted at the transmission shift lever.

Price lowered to $325+ship.


This is a nice, lower-mile, column.
