cab clearance lights
I have a 1976 F-250 Ranger XLT. I suspect it had lights on the roof at one time. Under the headliner there are the little electrical mounts for the cab lights just like the mount for the dome light. What my question is the mounts are at the rear of the cab instead of the front. There are even little rust marks on the top of the cab where the screws used to be. The mounts on the underside appear to be factory. Which is correct, front or back?

Clearance lights are required on certain weight vehicles at the front of the cab (take a look at 18 wheelers). The wiring may be a stock item, but the location is definitely a custom job.

I don't have the wiring #'s available, but they may be found @ Ford or a junkyard.
