I've tried reading other threads pertaining to my current issue, but I can't seem to find enough information. Ever since I've owned my truck, it's had a very hard time starting after driving it. There is a very rich smell of fuel as it cranks when warm. The starter also has a very hard time turning the motor over when warm (probably starter or starter wires though the starter is fairly new). Anyway, the previous owner said he replaced the fuel pressure regulator but I'm not sure where that is to check. Someone said possibly a temp sensor?

More than likely a bad ECT sensor or ACT sensor.
The two sensors do not show up well when bad in EEC self-test as the computers has no idea if they giving the right information or not.
You will just have to take them out and test them.
ACT: Air Charge Temperature sensor or its signal circuit.
ECT: Engine Coolant Temperature sensor or its signal circuit.
EEC: Electronic Engine Control. A computer controlled system of engine control.
