Excursion: Body Trim, Paint, and Undercoating...
Hey All,
So along with going through and restoring some parts on the Excursion and getting the front end fixed we have some exterior questions.
1) How is the trim/moldings taken off? Is it glued on or held by clips?
2) I removed the side-steps should I brace the area?
3) The antenna wire fell from the mounting plate, where could it have gone?

1) All the body cladding/trim is glued on. Use a heat gun and take your time. Save the cladding parts, there always seems to be someone looking for a replacement for a damaged piece.
2) Bracing it would depend on how it is currently, any rust, corrosion or damage there? If I recall correctly there are more potential mount points on the backside of the rocker panel to use than the factory setup, maybe look to increase the number of mounts per step.
3) Gravity always wins, look down.
