Fan Blade bending

It happened again! This is the second time a blade has mysteriously bent and ruined my radiator!

Has anyone experienced this problem? Help!

No offence, but did you leave a wrench or part in there? Did you drive through thick brush, or adjust your shrowd? Welcome to FTE.

Fan Blade bending

Well I thought of all of these things, however and according to both of my sons who have driven the truck, one for each time it happened, and they say no. But my logic tells me it has got to be one of those things. The motor mounts are good, the water pump is tight. the shroud is tight, and the radiator is tight.

I am going to cover the opening under the front end with aluminum sheet metal to prevent anything fron kicking up from under the truck. Hopefully this won't happen again.
