Just got a leveling kit installed on my 05 F350, (coil spacers and shocks) and was wondering if there would be any problem with putting 35s on with it? They look like they'll fit no issue I just want to know if there is any rubbing anywhere I should be cautious of or just get 305 70 18s instead?
Yeah I wasn't planning on doing more than a 12.5, considering I don't do that much offroading or mudding. I was just a little worried if I spent $1200+ for a new set of tires if they would rub and wear faster. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
With a 2" leveling kit 35x12.50R17 on (IIRC) -8mm offset wheels rubbed on the driver's side on my truck. Stock 18s cleared 295/70R18s even without the leveling kit, so using stock wheels 35x12.50 should be fine.
2" leveling kit and 295/70R18 NItto Trail Grapplers (34.5"x11.7" actual, and also cleared when the leveling kit came off):
35x12.50s that rubbed on the driver's side, but it's pretty obvious they're spaced out almost an inch further because of the wheel offset:
