Truck title issues

Good morning everyone

I'm in the market for a new truck, and I've found a 2004 f150 lariat that I'm very interested in. The issue is the title is at his bank, and he cannot complete the payoff until he sells the truck. Our work schedules clash and I cannot be out there unless it is a weekend, and the bank can complete the payoff, but cannot release the title unless it is during the work week. Is there a way for me to purchase the truck and ensure the title is sent to me? Any help is appreciated.

I hope you have figured this out by now.

Usually the title, bill of sale, and other transfer papers are sent to or taken to the DMV upon sale.

This is done all the time, the bank should have a procedure.....
