2016 vs 2017 F-250

Hay All, new to the site.
I've been driving E-250 cargo vans for the past 20 years but a change in buisness is prompting me to buy a Truck.
I'll be using it for light home maintaince of 8 homes which will include Plowing, possibly more as time goes on.
Hope to keep this truck for 10+ years (I hate payments).

So my question - 2016 (steel) Vs 2017 (aluminum)?
But which one will hold up better, be more cost effective (maintenance, resale, repair, etc)?

Sixteen all the way. You are gonna get one heck of a deal if you can be patient enough.

0%, deep discounts. If you don't care about the latest and greatest (some people just have to have the newest) I'd say 16. Other than aluminum the only other big thing is a lot more electronics. In another month more or less you could save 15 to 20 thousand over a new one.
