Morning, hoping everyone enjoyed the weekend. It's been a while Kyle. Funny thing was yesterday we were watching the Olympics in the late afternoon and there was a mountain bike race on. I don't know if you caught it but what a growling track. And thought of you and your bikes. Wondered if you were getting out there riding this summer.
Hey John, I've been getting quite a few miles in lately. I missed all the Olympic bike action, bmx and mtb. Cool thing though, a guy from Connecticut won at crankworx in whistler Canada the other week! There's a surprising amount of pros out of connecticut
Kyle good to hear that your getting out there on the bike. I really didn't know that there was that much interest in the bikes until I saw your bike and started looking into them.
Holiday weekend coming up and I am getting ready with smoked pork loin and pudding shots. My neighbor is doing a Cajun seafood and I believe the slushy machine will be running.
Kids back in school and back to a routine sounds good.
There is a storm that is going to come up the coast this weekend. That means there should be big waves in Rhode Island on Saturday and Sunday hopefully.
Afternoon everyone, I picked up a motor for my car over the weekend, just got a shop crane and a load level today, I should be able to pull the motor this weekend along with the transmission. The motor I found has 94k miles on it, about 60-70k less miles than my car has. It was bolted to an automatic so I need to change the flywheel with the one that was on my old motor, and I am going to throw a cluth in as well. I figure If I can spend a few hundreds bucks and have the car for a few more years, it should be worth it.

Sounds like it's worth a shot Kyle. If you need a hand, let me know and I'll try my best to make it work. I'll be busy some Saturday afternoon, but otherwise I could lend a hand.

Thanks, and will do! I've got nearly everything out that needs to be out so far, looks like the book wants the engine and trans lifted together which would work fine, but the cv shafts will not come out! Had the pry bar on them and everything, they seem to be stuck in there really good.
