off idle engine runs rough
I have a 77 f-150 300 4 spd, my questioned is this. The truck runs really rough, off idle to about 40 mph enough to shacking the stick back and forth something horrible. I did ordered a rebuild carb for it. Could something else cause this. I did a quick check on vacuum leaks didn't see anything.

Off idle to 40MPH how? Off idle to 40 MPH- Light acceleration (little to no accelerator pump)-or- Wide open throttle drag race style? My best guess right now would be dirty carb (soak in B-12 and blow out every orifice with air) or bad accelerater pump/power circuit. Good luck!
