Who are you???? Your avatar and sig look familiar......

Not much, just sitting at work trying to get the end of the month stuff wrapped up. I am waiting to see what was filed on Friday to see how much more work I have for July.
I am debating on taking the entire day off tomorrow. I am already leaving at 1 for an appointment with my orthopedic doctor and also the supplier for my ortho inserts and shoes. That will be about $500 out the door because they are not covered by insurance. Luckily I have a flex spending plan so I will get reimbursed for the money.

Not too bad today Neil. Just deciding on who will be doing the test of the siren system today.

I know how that is. The old siren that we had at the fire hall was I believe an old Civil Defense one. It had such a current draw that the lights dimmed inside when that sucker would first wind up. I could hear it clear as a bell about 3 miles away.

Ours are not that bad. We transmit wireless to them via a radio system. We have canned messages that are used for the most part but they also have a PA feature that we test with the rest of the system as well.
