I get the price issue, but after buying 3 at roughly $150 over the past couple years, I wasn't going to buy another one ever again. Also the cost of replacing the CAT ELC that blows out when the OEM part fails gets expensive. Also, I see where you asked about the engine cover. I believe PSP sells one but I don't remember where I bought it. Google "7.3 engine cover" and scroll through the images. Thats how I found mine when I bought it.

Something is not right with the ones your getting.
Even Dorman's don't have that bad a reputation.
Where are they failing at? I've seen some (Dorman's) where the Caps don't fit correctly. An additional gasket makes that work.

I agree, thats why i'd never buy another one and spent the $390 for PSP's. All 3 were OEM ford's. The parts "expert" at the local dealer said they sell several every week because they always crack at the seams. Must be some kinda flaw with their supplier. Either way, not my problem anymore.

Thanks. I've had the entire system checked and there weren't any blockages or issues. I just was sick and tired of dealing with it. Now its on to my engine build

ive gone thru a few myself lately, not so much do to leaks although my factory original did spring a leak eventually, but for me its been battling the injector cups and what i think was a leak in the trans cooler in bottom of radiator. I suspect that the oil released into the system thru those leaks causes the plastic of the degas bottle to swell and then the cap wont screw on. I thought it was over pressured at first with the injector cups, but then with the trans fluild leak it did same thing without an overpressure event. One of those would be sweet i think, but maybe next time at that price....
