16's or 17's
My new to me 2000 ext cab flareside F150 with the off road package is in need of tires. It currently has the factory 17" wheels. Will 16" wheels fit or should I stick with 17"?

you can use either. Why change ? You want to keep the outside diameter of the tire constant... so lets say the present tires are 245 x 70 x 17 .......... the new tires might be 265 x 70 x 16 or 245 x 75 x 16 so the DIAMETER stays the same... My 2002 had 16 inch and I put a set of 17 inch that I had from my 2001 CREW.
