Thanks guys. I am going to order one to replace the B&M which is way too short to be of any value in an old truck.

Later!

I went with the 23" Lokar mounter to the top of my 4R70W transmission:

Push button is in the middle of the shifter ****. It has good detents. 23" puts it at the same height as stock shifter on T9 4-speed

Lokar 32" Double Bend Nostalgia on T350. Only problem I have is it hits the seat when I shift it into 1st.

Thanks guys for the replies and photos. I looked at my B7M last week and it is a cable shift unit. I only get one shift which I think is first to second because it sounds like the engine is revving too high at speed. But Henry went to my buddies on Saturday to get the Mustang II front end and PB pedal assembly installed. While he has it I am going to have him look at the transmission to ascertain if the trans is bad or just needs to be adjusted.

Later!

What are you using for back up light switch

I bought the Hurst Pro-Matic II with the taller handle for Trucks. Wasn't tall enough. Found a long handle on Craigslist and grafted it on.
