49 under dash AC

Visiting the step kids , their dad has a 49 , he wants to remove the Hot Rod Air unit and hook up the cowl vent . He needs the arms , and would like to sell the AC , what would it be worth ? and does any one have the vent control parts ?

I have a complete cowl vent assembly that I can sell you. It isn't "show car ready" because when I rebuilt it I used (chrome) nuts & bolts instead of rivets as on the original. It is powdercoated in semigloss black, with new ratchet gear, etc. The screen isn't 100% intact but is very serviceable as-is. I have an extra rubber cowl gasket that I'll throw in. I haven't thought of a price yet, but keep in mind that the powdercoating did cost me money &, at least when I found this one on eBay, they were hard to come by in good condition - I haven't checked lately to see if any of the usual suppliers sell repros now or not, but when I got this one there were absolutely no new ones available & most of the used ones were bent/rusted/etc.
