Does anyone have a link to good set of instructions, including list of ALL necessary parts and supplies, to make the headlight harness - to provide full voltage to the headlights (instead of the typical weak voltage as a result of passing thru several circuitry components)?
Or, if they're available thru any online retailer, I'd appreciate the link there too.
You can buy el-cheapo harness for about $12 to $20 bucks (delivered) from eBay sellers. Just search "headlight relay harness kit" and the like. Dozens of sellers.
They all seem to be sold out of the same place. Maybe want to replace the relays themselves with Bosch for added reliability. I bought one and the build quality and materials isn't too bad, for the money.
One guy quoted me $275 or somesuch for a custom made one. I'm sure it was OK, but. Anyway there's no way I could assemble the materials myself, and then build one for twelve bucks. It's a deal.
So if it helps anyone else, I found THIS thread while doing some more poking around regarding the headlight harness on Super Duty's. For $75, seems like a very good option.
