Exterior Color
Since my order doesn't have a VIN I am going back and forth between exterior color choice between shadow black and white platinum.
I have a black F150 but its metallic. I don't like the swirls in black and that black is always dirty. I'm not sold on either color
I would like to ask for your thoughts. I know color is a preference but I am looking for some advise in this matter.
I'm getting a F450 Platinum.

Black trucks, when washed and polished, look the best. The downside is they show scratches and dirt the easiest of any color. I had the tri-met platinum white and loved it. However, I'm going with Blue Jeans this time. The one problem with white is that the lower half of the truck picks up road tar easily and that can be hard to remove.

I have metallic black now and I rarely wash it. The concern I have with shadow black is that since it is non metallic it will show swirls. I have a black car but I ended up wrapping it to prevent swirls. It's one thing to wrap a car but a huge truck like F450 would be crazy expensive to wrap

Have to disagree a little. You're right about the washing technique being responsible for a lot of it, but here in snow country just brushing snow off can create the swirls and scratch marks. But black sure is beautiful, agree there.
