Track Bar install question...
On a side note, how do you like those K02's? I just ordered a set this week, i'm curious on how they perform!
You can center that steering wheel in a few mins by adjusting the drag link a few turns and after they fix the ball joint mount to the correct side centering the axle is done the same way...
Side note...you can install a track bar on a lift you just can't tighten it up till its on the ground.
But yeah, I like them. If the tread-wear is good, I'll buy another set.

Another thing to know. Some of the cheaper lift kits out there. If you lift the truck up on a two post lift and let the suspension flex out sometimes just doing this takes out the track rod bushing in the truck. It allows the suspension to droop further then what it was originally designed to do. It only takes the small amount of movement and then you start seeing death wobble and premature wear on other parts.
You really ought to get your alignment checked. If you caster is out of spec it will drive like ****. When you lift these trucks you will mess with the caster.

I went back yesterday, they moved the clevis to the bottom of the axle, but still didn't adjust it correctly. They sent it for a full alignment before I got the chance to see it. Once I saw it, I pointed out that the axle was still 1.5" out on the passenger side and the guy had the nerve to tell me it was an optical illusion. We went back and forth on it and I figured I wasn't going to get anywhere with him, but I was tired and hungry after work, so I just went home.
I talked to a buddy of mine about the situation... My buddy has a '15 Denali HD (It's a nice truck, whatever) that he's put probably $25k into. 8" lift, 37s, steps, bed cover, lighting, tint, wheels, shocks, exhaust, airbags, tuner, etc etc and it's all TOP shelf stuff. And he has a circle of friends who all have very similar trucks, ALL from that shop. Before the '15 Denali HD he had a '13 F350 Platinum with all the same crap on it, all from that shop.
I didn't ask my buddy to, but he called "his guy" over at the shop and then I was taken care of by a completely different set of people and they CLEARLY knew what they were doing. They did tell me that they had some troubles in the company with some underskilled people taking on more than they can handle.
So anyway, long story short, the truck is perfect now. Axle is centered perfect, track bar is oriented correctly, steering wheel is dead on, bump steer is gone, I'm quite happy with the whole thing at this point. I am honestly sad for the owner and these hardcore guys in the back that they have this other group of guys out front who are publicly embarrassing them.
I know the lift is nothing special, but at the height that I got, it's really just a series of spacers. It doesn't change much of anything in the stock geometry, and that's what I wanted. Bigger tires, sitting a little higher, with a little rake, but I won't do anything more than take it on a dirt road every now and then. The track bar on the other hand, seems like a pretty premium piece. What don't you like about it? Threaded big *** bar, some heims and some hardware, all of which seems adequate.

Seems to drive fine though.

EDIT: I certainly realize it is steeper than it was before, I can look at the suspension and understand how that happens.
