I understand what he is saying, because he thinks it should be a standard feature and believes most people want it.
I understand why it is not standard...and that reason would be the same reason why you can buy an XL truck with manual crank windows. Most people do want the electric windows, but some people only want the raw capability of the truck for the most minimal price...e.g. business owners.
The point I was trying to make is I have installed a liner in every truck I have purchased over the last 10 years. For me it's just a hassle I prefer not to deal with. I would prefer for all trucks to come standard with one.
I think the majority of owners would prefer to have a liner as standard equipment, I could be wrong.
