Great pictures on the road trip home. It was a good plan having your back up truck in the bed.

Your gunna need a bigger shed. "Old school cool"

Yes, a bigger shed is needed. Everything on the place was built on the small side.

Any new photos of your N-600?
Maybe some under-cab photos, under-hood photos and interior?
Nice truck!

I haven't taken any new pictures. I'll have to get some when I get home.

When I was home this last time I was surprised with no brakes on the ford. Discovered a rear brake cylinder leaking. I was able get new ones at napa to my surprise. They were even in stock! I hauled a couple loads of junk and put her back to bed. I totally forgot to snap some more pics while I was there.
One cool thing I found before I came home was another plastic/fiberglass headliner for it in Grand Forks. I couldn't believe my luck . I had planned on repairing the old one but this worked out much better. Mine had a fist size hole on the passenger side. I pushed out some dents left by the previous owner and installed new factory style cab lights. Some progress was made at least.
Oh, and Number Dummy, if you read this, thanks for giving me a call. Sorry I wasn't 100 %. I was dealing with a case of food poisoning at the time. Thankfully i was all good the following day.

That's really nice truck. I think I'd leave the paint alone myself.
No shame in showing the age of something that works for a living.

Are you keeping the large stake dump bed as it exists or are you planning any changes to the truck?
Love to see some close photo's of cab inside and out, engine compartment, and other details of your original N600.
Those are grand 'ol rigs.

Nice truck! I'm in the process of fixing up a 68 F600 and would love to know about the folding hitch on your truck. Was it on there already, is factory or custom, was that a common setup, etc?
Also, when you hauled your gravel, did you ask them to load a specific quantity? How much?

I backed the truck up to a dirt bank and lifted the bed some and drove the pickup on. Used the shoulder of a road to get it off.

The hitch was homemade. It uses the back of bed frame. I will try to get some pictures tommrow.

When I haul rock with the truck, I generally go for 5 to 6 yards. That's usually one scoop with a large loader.

I LOVE the look of that wheat truck. I'm glad I don't have to decide whether it gets painted or not.
From the look of it, minimal work would be required to get it back to brand-new condition.
But at the same time, as was stated earlier, I absolutely LOVE the patina on that truck.
And that C10 is beautiful as well.

But to be honest, That Aint Love.
The truth is I Cant Fight This Feeling.
The real star is the wrecker!
In My Dreams I will never own a truck that cool!
If I did, I would want to get it Back On The Road Again and Take It On The Run!
They used to be plentiful and easy to find. But nowadays, it's Tough Guys.
They'll never make them like that anymore but you just have to Roll With The Changes and Keep Pushin.
What else can we do? Right?
That wrecker is really special so Don't Let Him Go.
If you treat it right and show it the love it deserves, it'll Keep On Lovin You for many years to come.
Well, I've gushed over that wrecker long enough. I think it's Time For Me To Fly.

Thanks for sharing those pictures elpound. I'm envious of all three.
