True, I had to look at a couple of shops before I found one that would mount 315s on stock wheels (in litigious Cali).

That really pissed me off last time I was there...

They mounted 315s on Rudolph since August 2007 and all of a sudden it's illegal.

What gets me is that if they're not willing to install a larger tire size due to whatever issue, why would you sell them?

So we'll buy their Chinese-made 10x16 rims with peeling chrome after one winter?

Would like to go with some 20's off of the newer superduty trucks but I will be using this to tow my toy hauler sometimes and not sure if I like the idea of spacers. I want to keep the sidewall low profile for handling though for sure.

Sounds like some '04 OEM Super Duty 18" would be a good rim for you, up sized 8" wide rim that does not need spacers to fit correctly. I went with them on my EX because we tow heavy and I didn't want to use spacers for that, I have 35.28" tall Nitto Duras in 305/70R18E on my '04 Lariat rims.

How do the 315's fit? Any rubbing? I wish I could've gone with them but decided to go the easier and cheaper route of just running the 295's for now.

Looks good but those wheels are hard to find. Well, hard to find without breaking the bank I should say.
