Haven't used Trim Line Truck Interiors, but I stripped down and re-covered mine with one from Raybuck a couple of weeks ago and I'm happy with it. Are you going for a certain look/material?
I'm not really looking at like anything specific like a lariat seat or anything like that. Their website doesn't really show much but they show a bench seat on their eBay auction that looks kinda like what I'm looking for. The one they show has vinyl on the middle and cloth ends. I doubt I'll be able to get one exactly like I'm trying to replace.
I ended up going with raybuck just because it was the least expensive seat and back I was interested in looks-wise. I used to have the chain mail on driver & pass side, with a vinyl strip splitting the middle. I ended up replacing with just all vinyl. The list of places I considered for just a seat cover were:
-http://www.automotiveinteriors.com (bought my vinyl floor from them)
-NPD
-Mac's
-Raybuck (bought the seat cover from them)
You may come across something you like more at one of them. I can gladly find pics of my all vinyl seat result if you like, but I'm sure you've found plenty of pictures of them online already.
Thanks for the links I will check them out. I looked at the Raybuck website earlier but couldn't really find what I was looking for. I just don't want something to show up that won't work and is completely not right since it's happened before!
PA Give this guy a call. I've used his seat covers before and they are of great quality. Plus if your seat foam is in need of restoration he can help with that as well. Also he can usually be found at the Canfield swap meet which is this weekend. It might be worth the trip if you really want an example of his work. Plus he usually has pre-made seat covers ready to sell on the spot if you see the style you like. I'm going to get more off of him when I'm ready to replace the ones in my current truck.
My buddy actually has 2 of his black ones he bought last year that are option for me. I actually haven't seen them yet but might tomorrow night. If I left it out I think I'm looking for a blue or a brown. I don't actually know this yet because my Dad needs to make up his mind which color his truck is going to be...right now it's brown. I was and still am trying to get this sorted out for his birthday in August but looks as if I should've been on him soone r to decide. Thanks for the Petes Seats idea though.
You're welcome. And FWIW he does headliners as well. And the last time I talked with Pete he had a cover made that was all vinyl, it was black bordered with silver and black insert. It was so well done that it looked like it could have been factory designed and installed. And believe me when I say my description doesn't do that cover justice. I should have taken a picture of that cover. Also for those who would be interested he also makes the quarter panel trim panels for the Bronco's.
