Ok2 questions, I have done many searchs with no answer. 1) does anyone make a red stock 08-up style LED tail light with the back up light on the top. 2) do anyone make the back up light with a LED board like the red without using a plug in style led bulb? I want to put them on s 04 F250
I have these and they were the closest stock-looking LED taillight I could find. Nothing with the reverse light on top. I've also never seen one with the reverse lamp as a board light the rest of the LEDs.
I dont think I have seen any for the 08 to 10 style tail lights with the reverse up top.
As for an LED board, I haven't see anything like that for tail lights. I suppose you could find something and retro fit it, but for the amount of money you'd spend I dont think it would be worth it, that just my opinion of course.
One of the problems I could see with an LED board is that when the board goes, so does your lights in that particular tail light, meaning you would have to source another led board or repair it.
Replacing an LED bulb(s) are fairly easy as they are all over the place and fairly easy to find. Replacing an LED board that would fit into the tail light would be a bit of challenge if you ask me.

Where did you buy them from? Di noy understand why they wouldn't make them with led on the tio.

Joey Cap, love your taillights. What brand/model number are they? How long have you had them i.e. any problems or issues. Also, in your research, did you come across any high mount 3rd brake light that were LED's?

I've had them on over a year now no issues at all. And they are really bright.
I couldn't find any LED 3rd brake lights that looked close to the factory style. I went with the Recon smoked 3rd brake light. Anzo makes one very similar but theirs has a chrome trim around the edge that I didn't like. The Recon is all black. Put it on at the same time as the other taillights and haven't had any issues with it either.
