All put back together. Cycled 8 times. Tapped the key and it cranked for about two seconds and off it went. Idled fine but then I noticed the wrench light come on. Ugh. Took it for a quick run down the road and it drove fine. Turned the truck off then back on and the wrench went away. Is this something I should be concerned about or do you think it was just from the partially dry fuel system?
I'm betting it was temporary low fuel pressure that went away after the system got out the remainder of the air.

I did go into the engineering screen when I got home and your right, no codes were stored. And I agree, I must get another bowl in my possession before it happens again.

Dak--how'd you learn that one? I've got the basic dash on the XLT; don't know if it'll work but will try. I've got a Scangauge II after having some fits with DEF last year but don't have any codes. I'm sitting in Continental now getting a screw removed from my Toyo tires.
I say do it. It's best to learn at your leisure than in an emergency. Next time I might take Golfmedic's advice and use a strap wrench along with the socket to spread the force being applied.
