Alright, Bubba's subtle hint got me to thinking. How many campers do we have here in this hot, humid, mosquito infested state and what type of camping do you do.
All the races i used to go to it was easy to go the motorhome route. I guess i'm a motorhome person here fla, However if i go up north i use a tent setup.
Duh! I forgot to let ya know what kind of camping we like.
When the kids were small we always tented it. It was fun for them and us. Now, with just the two of us, we have a 23' pull behind camper. The place we camp has none of the conveniences of home, that is not unless you have a generator.
BTW - Bubba, I haven't discussed it much with Steve yet as to whether he's willing to have a group camping trip at our property. I think he wants to meet some of you before deciding on that. He's doesn't use the computer but maybe 2x's a year so he doesn't know what a great group of people are here on FTE other than what I tell him. I'll keep working on him cause I think it would be a blast.
I have a two room tent, a two man tent, sleeping bags, stove, etc. Haven't been camping in a while, but November sounds like ideal weather. We've been camping a few times with our motorcycle buddies and always had a lot of fun and got to know each other. If we do this I can let someone use the second room in the main tent and the pup tent.
Carlene,
If you and Steve would like, my wife and I could come to Ocala the next time you go camping. Just let me know.

Bubba - as I said, I've been working on Steve. Well, the good news is that I'll be emailing you with directions and his cell #. You should already have mine, but he always has his with him. We'll be up there for the Labor Day weekend and hope to see you and your wife.
Hey Bubba - ya know, you never actually voted in this poll - just voiced your opinion. Since this is the first pole I've created in the over 4 years I've been here, I'm jonesing for success. *grin*
HEY!!!! You must be rubbing off on my - my buttons are now gone. Luckily, I know where they are so I can still use them though.
Okay, I put my vote in for tenting. One of the women in our motorcycle club use to say that her idea of roughing it was a Holiday Inn with no remote control for the TV
If it ain't better than Holiday Inn it ain't camping. 5th wheeler for me. Johnathon Dickson is a ggod park. The keys have camp grounds throughout but pricey. Ft Desota near St. Pete Beach is a city owned park on an island, it's great. Sebastian Inlet State Park is great, but few trees. Highland Hammock is a nice inland Park. JD is our weekend local escape, great biking, large park, ocean nearby (HObe Sound Beach).
Been camping at these . Not down in the keys. Did alot in the big swamp. Did go in the panhandle. They are pretty good. Beach camping was nice, but too much sand blowing around. The people with the rolling homes were crying about sand in the house. O'well
