Sure you can vote if you want to. It's my poll and I said so!!!
Almost forgot - I see you're not getting much of a response from those Arizona folks. I would have figured somebody would have jumped in with an answer for you by not. Guess they're not as friendly as us Floridians.
Jens, I have a brother who spent some time in Germany. He was in microwave communications sales. He now lives in Mesa AZ, just outside of Phoenix and also has a cabin at Show Lo, which is up higher and much cooler. The Phoenix weather in Oct is warm days and cool nights. I've e-mailed him to see if I can give his e-mail address to you so you can talk directly.
I thought that vote was only for Floridians (you wrote: "How many campers do we have here in this hot.....), but now I have placed my vote for the 5th wheel.
Bubba Shrimp,
I got your email with the email adress of your brother, thank you. I'll write a mail to him this weekend, thanks for help!
dogman,
Wurzburg, I know the town, I bought a Ford Gran Torino years ago there -only 'cause I needed the windshield . Wurzburg is 'bout 500 miles from my home.
Palmdale Campground is now open. I camped there every New Years untill they closed 8 or 10 years ago. It's a great campground with lots of trees. It's located on the west side of Lake Okechobee on Fish Eating Creek. They got into a law suit with Lykes (the meat company) and finally reopend the grounds. They have both RV and tent camping. With all the trees it keeps the grounds cool even during the summer. November would be a great time of year.
