air conditioning system recommendations for a '53

Hello Guys,
Here is one of the older post on one of the popular subjects/debates on this forum, AC units who's to buy and why. Here is one of the latest post concerning this topic.

I have an Old Air unit. The ability of it to cool in the hot TN summer has gotten better. My wife who runs AC in the winter says it comfortable not great but comfortable. Here is my question. I won an Vintage Air EVO Space Saver unit on Ebay. It measures 24" inches across which is basically from the right kick panel to about the ashtray ind width. Has anyone ever put in either a Space Saver or the Super Cooler Evaporator behind the dash on a 53-55? I would appreciate any feedback or advice. I may end up selling the unit because I do like that unit Danhard sells, the 205 model. Thanks for the help guys.
