Starter relay issues - 1977 Ford F150

So I found this old post and it helped me with the replacement of the Starter Relay for my F150. Now I am no mechanic but i can follow a diagram and pictures. Thanks all for the help.

The issue now is that if i place the brown wire on the "I" ignition side of the relay, the truck has continuous power and starter will stay on continuously. If i remove the brown wire off the "I" post of the relay, the truck will attempt to start and run.

Any thoughts to this issue....This is a brand new relay, so this is not an old issue? I didn’t have an issue prior to the relay repair. The old relay just wouldn’t start sometimes.

please help.
