Banjo Bolt CONUNDRUM

I need help!

I have had my 6.0L down to head gasket replacement. Installed BulletProof Diesel air/oil cooler, after market oil filter, 2 micron filter, etc. Had heads rebuilt, o-ringed, etc.

My question is: How many Banjo Bolts of ANY kind/size are associated with the kind of work I have done?

I know of 3. All fuel related. One on the secondary filter housing, and one on each of the heads with a check valve.

Are there ANY more banjo bolts on this engine?

Maybe assocated with oil flow? Maybe some with green paint on the head of the bolt?

Please help!!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Loren

What year is the truck you are working on and what is the exact problem you are having?

It is an '07. The problem may not be a problem.

I have 5 banjo bolts. 3 large ones and 2 small ones with backflow prevention.

I know where three of them go. One is the fuel supply attached to the secondary fuel filter bowl and two of them, one to each head.

The two left over are larger like the one on the fuel filter bowl. Each of the two have a green paint smear on the head of the bolt.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that the machine shop returned some parts in a baggie when I picked up the heads. Could they have scooped up two banjo bolts that were laying on the bench and tossed them in the baggie by mistake? BTW, the leftover banjo bolts do not smell like diesel.

Are there any banjo bolts on the 6.0 that transfer oil?

All help appreciated,

Loren

Hopefully m-chan or run6.0run will chime in. I don't think these other two banjo bolts are from the truck.

Thanks for the reply! You are giving me hope.

The odd thing is that there are a PAIR of banjo bolts but no tube of any type to transfer liquid through the banjos........ No metal tube of any kind left over.
