Wow, Don Neighbors! That is the understatement of the year! It must have been 10 years since I've seen that blue 54 truck here abouts!
Show us pics. Any improvements?
Nope, I haven't made any improvements to Grover, though he could sure use the attention. Money's been tight, and it seems every time I want to do something major, I need to put him to work.
Morotbreath, you ought to see the load of brush I have in the bed right now! I just might take a picture.
Abe, I have made one change: I out a set of rims from an '88 F20 on Grover because (1) the original rims were in pretty bad shape; and (2) so I can put wider tires on him.

Reason: Do I need one?

"I might just take a picture."????? Run out there, take a picture and post it.
Good to hear from you.
These trucks were work horses long before they were restored beauties. Grover is just as happy as a clam if you ask me!
I don't use him a lot, but he's there when I need him. When I went looking for an old Ford before I bought Grover I wanted one with an 8-foot bed. I didn't realize that in '54 that bed length was only on the F-250s. Who am I to complain about the extra weight capacity?
