I have swapped the frame from a 1987 f-350 into my 1979 bronco. Axles and brakes are from the f-350. My question is which proportioning valve should I use? I would prefer the one from the f-350 because it was set up from the factory for the disks and drums I'l be using, and it bolts real nicely right up to the frame. Thing is that the truck valve has the ABS features built into it. It's actually called a "Electro-hydraulic proportioning valve". Will it function correctly without the ABS electronics being hooked up?
The other option is to use the bronco's valve, the one I have is in pretty rough shape though. I'm not sure if the brake bias will be correct, or close to correct with the bronco valve.
I will be using a master cylinder and dual diaphragm booster from a 1979 f-250.
