I'm building an expedition trailer to haul my gear into the back country and I want to use the same size tires that I have on my SD truck so that I will have in effect two extra spares should the need arise....
So I will be going with 18" rims but want to confirm what the offset is. I've read several different answers but the most prevalent seems to be +40 to 44mm.
+40mm is the stock offset for an 8" wide factory wheel on 2005+ trucks. I have never found them aftermarket with that much offset. I have seen a lot in the +20 ranger which should work fine if you need them.
