Shackles

Can I completely remove my rear shackles and not run any shackles for a drop? I want the rear lower but I don't know if just removing the blocks will give me the stance I want. Thanks for any help

Short answer no.

Your truck will ride like a brick with no shackle. You need a shackle on a leaf spring to allow for the length change in it as it moves up and down with road irregularities.
