Whats your truck model? You haven't said and I'm not clairvoyant.
Please use punctuation to separate your sentences.
I just looked them up, 1974 F100 used same calipers as my '77 F150 on front .... which means you can get bigger front piston calipers by going to the T-Bird / Elite / etc calipers as detailed below or in other posts here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-upgrade.html
You can also change to a more powerful vacuum booster & MC setup (once you go to larger piston-ed calipers and wheel cylinders, you'll make use of a larger piston-ed MC to move the increased volume needed), even go with hydroboost ..... and the F250 / F350 rear wheel cylinders have larger pistons so the psi of brake fluid is multiplied by larger area for more pressure (keeping it simple).

I thought so when I saw it mentioned above .... I just added "year"!
FWIW I think the OE front disc/rear drum setup works quite well with more or less stock diameter tires. Do you have front discs now? Parts to rebuild a stock disc/drum setup are readily available and cost effective.
If starting with drum/drum, upgrade to at least OE front discs is highly recommended... mostly so you don't hit the guy in front who slams on his disc brakes.
As you research options for rear discs, check for parking brake function. Many kits do not have a parking brake or it requires extra upgrades to get it.
The twin piston front setup requires minimum 16" wheels to clear... sometimes bigger especially with aluminum wheels. It wasn't designed for the F100 so probably a number of other changes are needed in addition to wheels.
I have used inline tube for brake lines. Cost was reasonable and service was good. I would not want to buy this part from an Ebay vendor.
I have front disk thinking I just going to leave the drums in the rear Saw the ebrake issue on a number of conversion packages. Stick with what it came with . my 97 F150 short bed has the same setup and it stops fine
