just went out and tried to start it and it started right up.....hasnt started since yesterday morning....so please if anyone has any answers please let me know.
Have you made any attempt to determine what it doesn't have when it won't start? If not, that's a necessary next step. Get access to a spark tester and a fuel pressure tester. When it won't start, install the fuel pressure tester at the fuel rail to see what amount of fuel pressure you have. If there's decent pressure, does it bleed off quickly?
Also check for spark to the spark plugs (or at least the ones you can easily reach).
If you have correct fuel pressure and good spark but the engine still won't start, pull a spark plug or two and check the condition. Are they wet with fuel? Are they black from carbon? Are they in good shape with a correct gap?
Do you have access to a scan tool with datastream mode that would make checking the Engine Coolant Temperature easy?
how old are the plugs and wires? I had a 74 montego that would sometimes not start and on a whim i changed the wires. ran like a champ after that. small cracks will let the wires short out to each other. something to look at.
