Ok new list of problems on the 99 f150: power windows inop, brake lights inop, shift lever brake switch inop, interior lights inop, trailer brake lights inop, all fuses good, does any one know what relay may control some of these? Or a fusable link? thanks
The cruse control went about a month ago, the brake lights I fixed lastnight, a faulty switch, the windows and interior lights still inop. Still no fuses are blown, what relay controls those three? The windows & interior probs started 3 days ago when i was troubleshooting the brake lights. I did not remove any relays and still no fuses blown.
The only thing that I can see that is common to all your problems is a ground...G200. It is behind the passenger's side kick panel.
Does the cruise work now that the brake lights work?
The windows and courtesy lights are controlled by the GEM (generic electronic module) which is attached to the back of the fuse box.
