I had the ELD get "stuck on" when I had my 2012 F150. I believe the switch etc are the same, in my case the **** on the dash broke inside, leaving it locked on.
I unplugged the connection at the diff and it disengaged. It sounds like you tried to unplug it, but did you just disconnect the electrical plug out of it's socket on the axle housing? It sounds like you did more when you say the sensor started coming out....
The dash switch really is plastic junk, I had to replace mine and I looked at the guts of the old one and it seemed pretty light duty inside....
I have a 2013 Ford with locking differential. Mine stays engaged unless I push in on the **** to switch it on. If I play with it for a bit it will disengage. Any tips on what the problem is? I thinks the switch but not sure how to replace. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
