Question No brakes

I have a 1988 F150, i just replaced all the ball joints of had to remove brake calipers. I cannot get the brakes to pump up now that i have everything back together. Please help!!!!!!!

Did you unhook the brake hose from the calipers?
If yes, you need to bleed the brakes.

i have tried bleeding the brakes however cannot get anything out of the bleed value. cannot get the brake pedal to pump up. i have bled brakes before but have never experience this before

are you saying that no fluid comes through the bleeder screw(s) when you try to bleed ?

Sounds like the bleeder is clogged.

sounds like you need to start from scratch bench bleed the master cylinder then the rear wheel cylinders then the front calipers

While that couldn't hurt, it believe it is unnecessary unless the master cylinder went dry while the calipers were disconnected.

Common issue. remove the bleeder screw, dig all the dirt out of the passage. Don't forget the cross drilled passage at the bottom.

Still, I'm thinking master cylinder. Failure would be unrelated to the ball joint work, just bad timing.

my bet is the master cylinder drained out while the calipers were disconnected.
