Congrats, stop by the catscales and see where you are at.
Looks very nice.
Thank you! Just out of curiosity I will eventually get it weighed. I know I'm well under my trucks ratings so I'm not worried. The trailer is only 8500lbs dry. When I get back from the trip I'm on I want the dealer to adjust the height on the axles. They are adjustable and can be raised up another 2" to make the trailer closer to level. If that doesn't help then I might upgrade to a 16" rim and tire..
I would weigh it empty, as you picked it up from the dealer, to find out what the real "dry weight" is. Then, weigh it again fully loaded out the way you're going to use it. Those are the 2 "real world" weights you need to care about.
As Scott said about the tires.... Last winter in coming from Florida. We had one tire go bad. Casing separated. It had maybe 8K miles on them and was 2 1/2 years old. It had st (special trailer) tires on it. They was rated for 65 mph max speed. We replaced with LT tires rated at 110 mph.
Just be aware.
