2015 6.7L Power Stroke Main Bearing Problems

I think this is what gets me. Properly torqued or not, properly maintained or not, this is a DIESEL engine with severe use applications. What happened to good old tried and true iron? LOL Anyways, I just hope Ford does right by the PO.

I was coming home from a camping trip back in April towing our 5er with my 2011 F250 and the engine started knocking. Got loud...quick! Pulled over and shut it down. Towed to a Ford dealer (by a damn Dodge) and upon teardown, #2 and #6 main bearings spun. 2 and 6 share a journal on the crank. No known cause as to why. 48k miles and impeccable maintenance. Short block replaced under warranty. Got it back and traded on a 2016 F350 DRW the next day.

Main Bearings 2012 40,000 gone bad
Has anyone heard of any issues with the 2015 6.7L Power Strokes having main bearing problems? I have a 2015 F-250 with 29,996 miles on it, took it in for an oil change and they discovered metal shavings in the oil pan. They pulled the pan off and discovered two of the main bearings had come apart.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this.
By the way....new short block is on the way!

They are doing Short Block Under warranty Yes But What i am saying truck has been at dealer for NINE weeks !! And they are only giving me 12,000 miles or one year Warranty on New Short Block. I was 3 1/2 hours away from home Had rent a car to get home $150 , I have not had truck in nine weeks If i had to rent a truck would cost 900 per month plus .45 a mile . So what they offered me was 1000 bucks Or Two years on Motor Only Really only one extra year ? . I take care of my cars and truck this only had 40,000 on it Mint . Truck listed over 64,000 in 2012 . I have a f250 2002 with 167,000 on it , Yes not paying any money to get it fixed But what has it cost me . Truck was under warranty

Yes Long time If i had to rent a truck would cost me 900 per month and .45 per mile Also cost me 150 rent a car to get home . If you were in my shoes you would want them to do better On a Short Block Warranty is only one year or 12,000 I really think your not getting my point . I spent a lot of money on my King Ranch list was over 65,000 so do not take it wrong

Why is it taking so long to repair? Is it a dealer problem vs a Ford problem?
I can't imagine it taking 9 weeks to drop a new engine in.
I bought a 2003 6.0L one of the first in the state, It's tranny lost a gear 30 days after I got the truck. No replacement trannys any where in the west. Ford over nighted a new tranny and I had the truck back in less than a week, including shipping time. And somebody paid for the rental truck I drove that week.
either my dealer took good care of me, or Ford did.
